Sticky, golden, and impossibly juicy — this honey garlic herb glazed chicken breast gets a caramelized honey-garlic crust with fresh herbs that makes it taste straight out of a bistro kitchen. One pan, 25 minutes, and a glaze you will want to spoon over everything.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1½ lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F internal). Remove and set aside.
- Lower the heat to medium. Melt the butter in the same skillet, add the minced garlic, and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the honey, apple cider vinegar, rosemary, and thyme. Simmer 1–2 minutes until the glaze thickens slightly and turns glossy.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the glaze over each piece, coating well. Cook 1 more minute so the glaze caramelizes onto the chicken.
- Slice, drizzle with the pan glaze, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
Pro Tips
- Pound the chicken to an even thickness so it cooks through without drying out.
- Watch the honey glaze closely — it goes from caramelized to burnt fast once it thickens.
- This glaze is magic on chicken thighs, pork chops, or roasted carrots too.
